What will 2010 be like ?

At the end of the year, many people start making predictions about what will happen the next year. Some people have already started to "guess" what 2010 will be like:

• there will be surprises in economy and investiments;
• Brazilian soccer team will win the World Cup;
• Beija-Flor and Salgueiro will fight for the first position in the Carnival competition;
• armed conflicts will happen around the planet;
• a promissing company (probably Twitter) will be acquired by Google in September;
• Sandy will release her first solo album;
• the United States will send missions to the moon and they will start building lunar colonies;
• Flamengo and Coríntians will fight for the Brazilian soccer championship;
• Felipe Massa will get back to Formule 1 competitions.

My vacation

I'm looking forward to my vacation. I'm spending it in the USA ! Yes, I'm going to California ! My brother lives there and I'm spending some time there with him. We're planning to spend Christmas and New Year's in Boston and then we return to California, where I'm staying until the end of January.

In California I want to visit San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Santa Cruz and San Diego. I want to meet people, eat good food and buy lots of things for me.

This is going to be my dream vacation !

New Year's Resolutions

Well, 2009 is going away and 2010 is knocking on our door. That's the time to start thinking about our New Year's Resolutions. I already have new plans for my new year. Check my list out:

• travel to Italy with a friend

My family

I have a very special family. My parents are Neide and José. They are wonderful parents. My brothers' names are Ricardo and Fábio. My sister's name is Fernanda. I have a son. He is 15 years old. My son's name is Felipe.

I don't have nieces or nephews, but I have many cousins.

My family is from Governador Valadares and Ipatinga.

The Beatles rock !!!!!

I love The Beatles. In my opinion, they were a great band and their songs still make many people dance and cry. Their music was very innovative at the time and it was an impact for the 60's.

I don't have ONE favorite song. There are many ! One of them is Across the Universe, which is also the name of a great movie released last year.

Writing letters or email ?

When I was a child I used to write letters to my aunts, uncles and friends. Now I write e-mail. I love the virtual space and I use e-mail to contact my friends, because it's faster. I also use e-mail for school and work.

What do you prefer to write: letters or e-mail ? Why ?

I love modern cellphones !

I have a modern cellphone but I don't like talking on the phone a lot. I use my cellphone to play Solitaire, listen to music, watch videos and text my friends. I also use it to take pictures. It has a good camera. What about you ? What do you use your cellphone for ?
